At least its not raining!

This morning's snow is a reminder of what is to come in this vigil - more snow! Remember everyone, be careful driving to the vigil, walking on the sidewalk and most importantly stay warm!
If anyone has a testament to share from their time on the sidewalk please email me. I would love to hear and share your stories with all those who are participating at home.

Day One

Day 1 of our 40 Days for Life campaign started this morning at 8am.
Here are a few housekeeping notes:

1. Signs will be at Golden Donuts later today. I just got them last night so my apologies for the delay.

2. Parking at OPA only nights and weekends! Otherwise the office bldg behind the old Alaska Women's Clinic on 42nd off Lake Otis is where we can park.

3. Remember to stay on the sidewalk and to be peaceful. If you are not peaceful you are distancing yourself from us and if you are not on the sidewalk APD will more than likely have something to say to you courtesy of Planned Parenthood's complaints.

Meeting Cancelled & Rescheduled

Our Meeting for tonight is cancelled. We will have the meeting NEXT Wednesday 7:00pm at Alaska Right to Life offices.

Wednesday's Planning Meeting Agenda

Wednesday's Meeting will cover the following agenda:
- review of the churches we have participating in the campaign/vigil
- discuss dates and strategy for recruiting more volunteers especially at the tables at churches the two Sundays before the vigil starts.
- the opening ceremony and reception at Holy Family on September 25th @ 5:30 p.m.
- discuss plans for the midway rally
- Finding someone to fill the Media Relations Position and the Vigil Coordinator. Media Relations is a flexible but possibly spur of the moment position that will handle press interviews. Vigil Coordinator is a behind the scenes, computer work position that will make the electronic calendar for the sidewalk vigil possible. Please apply! We need all the help we can get!
